We are currently accepting applications and resumes for Full & Part-Time Veterinary Assistant positions. Our veterinary assistants play a big part in our client and patient experience. They work directly with our doctors, patients, and their owners. This is a very hands-on job that is fast-paced, challenging, educational and rewarding. This position requires a cheerful, reliable, organized, motivated, people and pet-oriented individual who wants to provide exceptional service to our clients and patients. Previous experience in a veterinary hospital is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. This position requires desirable daytime, full-day, shifts as well as a weekend or two per month. Salary will commensurate with experience. Job Description:
Previous experience in a veterinary hospital is required in the following areas: Patient Care, Surgery Prep, Anesthesia Monitoring, Dental Prophylaxis, I.V. Catheter placement, Dental & Digital Radiology, Venipuncture, Client Education and at least 1 year in-hospital experience or have an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology.
